May Family Day and dates for the diary….

A really brilliant Family Day on Saturday - it was a such a pleasure to have everyone there!

The new ninja slackline was a hit, and we managed to squeeze in some bug hunting, pond dipping, hapa zome, natural dyes, sun paper printing, den building and clay craft too!

We did have to stop for lunch - nettle, wild garlic and spring veg soup; homemade wild garlic rolls, or twists cooked over the fire; potatoes with ground elder and garlic butter; a tomato and cucumber salad served with wild garlic flowers and of course proper sausage hotdogs! Oh, and fruit kebabs with Greek yoghurt and lilac and elderflower syrup.

Thank you to everyone who joined me for making it such a special day, and for their patience with my 2 little wildlings who came along too!

Dates for the diary....

Next family day will be 19th August - booking to go up shortly.

September term will start on the 2nd and run fortnightly, ending on the 10th November.

And finally, 24th November will be a special one off wreath making session ahead of Advent.

Hope to see you in the woods!
