May Family Day

About the sessions

Family days run from 10-2.30 and are special, small gatherings once a season offering the chance for all the family to enjoy Forest school activities, campfire cooking and time together in the woods, connecting with the environment and everything nature has to offer. Sessions are £12 each for adults and children, and free for little ones up to 2 years (so please let me know their names and age so I know they are coming but don't worry about including them in the number of paid for participants). Families of all ages are welcome and we hope to have something for everyone! Lunch, snack and hot drinks (cold too if its warm!) are included, as are all activities. Forest Days will go ahead outside in all weathers. Only if the weather is exceptionally wet (so the site is flooded), or there are high winds or thunderstorms will I cancel, if I can’t move it to another safe location. If I do need to cancel the day due to weather or illness I will offer an alternative date, or refund if you're not able to attend the alternative. Bookings are not refundable however wherever possible I will always try to reallocate your tickets to any waitlist running, but cannot guarantee this unfortunately.

Cancelation Policy

Forest School courses: Sessions are booked as a course and cannot be part refunded if you are unable to attend a session. In the event that I am unable to hold a session due to illness or COVID isolation requiring the whole group to be cancelled a replacement session on an alternative date will be offered. Forest School takes place in almost all weathers, however during high winds or extreme thunderstorms it may not be safe to go ahead. On these rare occasions the session will be cancelled and unfortunately no refunds can be offered. Family Days: Forest Days will go ahead outside in all weathers. Only if the weather is exceptionally wet (so the site is flooded), or there are high winds or thunderstorms will I cancel, if I can’t move it to another safe location. If I do need to cancel the day due to weather, or my need to isolate because of COVID, I will offer an alternative date, places on a subsequent family day or refund if you're not able to attend either alternative. Bookings are not refundable however wherever possible I will always try to reallocate your tickets to any waitlist running and refund you, but unfortunately I cannot guarantee this will always be possible.
