About the sessions

Want to celebrate in the woods? Forest Elder parties are a little bit special! What to expect: As with all Forest Elder sessions, you can expect the usual child-led activities will be available, like hammocks, slack-line, mud kitchen and book corner. Parties include a mix of further activities that can be themed to your little one’s interests - some ideas are below! Or you can simply choose 3 or 4 activities that you know your little one will love from the attached list. This makes no party the same and a lovely blend of opportunities for all the children (and important grown ups of course!) to enjoy. Stone Age Fire lighting Den building Bows and Arrows Games like man, mammoth, mouse Fairies Fairy houses/clay fairies Flower potion kitchen themed mud kitchen Dream catchers/Wand making Nature art Nature Explorer Bug hunting and identification Animal track casting Nature notebook making Navigation skills/bug house making Pirates Treasure hunt and map making Mini raft building Obstacle course/walk the plank Feed the shark bean bag throw Forest Elder parties can be designed for any age 2+, run for 2 hours (10.30-12.30 or 1.30-3.30) on selected Saturdays and Sundays and include: Name nature medal A choice of: hot chocolate or warm squash for everyone; marshmallows or s’mores or fruit pot round the campfire; information sheet/consent form for you to send to your guests Cost: £10 per child, minimum of 10. IMPORTANT: In order to keep everyone safe, I ask that enough parents remain to ensure a minimum 1:6 ratio of adults to children. If you would like your party to be ‘drop and go’, with notice I can provide additional forest school trained, DBS checked staff at an additional cost for their time. A deposit of £30 holds your date (discounted against cost of party), with payment due the Thursday prior to the event at the latest please. Extras: Parties can also include a Campfire lunch of hot dogs (real sausages or American hot dogs) in buns with ketchup (£2.00/child) Roast banana with chocolate and marshmallows cooked on the fire (£1/child) Crumpets or hot cross buns toasted on the fire (£1/child) Please get in touch using the booking request form here and I'll be in touch to confirm your date, numbers and activities.
